I always try to teach my kids that during their lives they will eventually come across gay people. I want them to be ready for this moment. I want them to know that not everybody is like mommy and daddy. My kids are growing older with each passing year. I think that it is about time I told them about all sorts of people they are likely to encounter when they grow older. They can always read about such people on this DarkQ’s gay blog. The reason I want my kids to be prepared for the day when they are going to meet with various people is that they need to understand that not all people like the same things. Only because mommy and daddy are heterosexual does not mean that everybody else is. The reason I want to teach them that lesson is that I want to be the one to tell them about it. I would not like it if I discovered one day that somebody else told them about gay people. I want to be the one to tell my kids about such things and I want to be the one to prepared them for anything that can happen in their lives, not somebody else.
